It was delivered by FedEx and it was not damaged at all. I recommend to cut it to size with a hacksaw, i used a pair of wire cutter that did the job but I had to bend the rail a little bit back into shape to make it fit perfectly. Definitely use a block of wood, hitting it directly with the hammer will dent the rail and damage it. adding any kind of glue or sealant is not necessary but it can only help seal any water out. When I installed it it fit snuggly and did not wobble. Recommend that the slide doors wheels also get replaces as the new ones on the market will slide over the rail much more efficiently.

Worked as advertised and ended the 3 year agony of opening my main sliding glass door. Other stores are selling this item for upwards of $45 dollars. At just under $10, Walmart is by far the best price.

When I got the item i was surprised how little and how easy it was to bend. Be careful when putting it on because if you bend it does not let the door slide. Once we got it on and all the bends out it worked perfectly to fix the problem.

Our sliding glass door has been hard to open and close for years. The bottom track was worn out. I Googled how to repair sliding glass doors. I came up with companies that would come to your house and fix them also I read about totally replacing the track. Than I ran across this product.. It is amazing an the repair was simple. We cleaned the track, applies silicon to the new piece and put it on with a piece or wood and a hammer. The door works great now!!!!!!

We were very surprised that we could get this part at Walmart.com. Our local home building center (Menards) did not have on hand or their website did not have them or could get them. It was very easy to install and door opens and closes so easy and quite now. We are very happy with our purchases. Thanks Wal-Mart!
