The formula is hard to mix up and when my son spit up it was all grainy looking. It made him struggle with gas worse from the first bottle. After a couple days it also made him constipated. He started getting better after switching him back to enfamil reguline. He started improving after the first bottle of the reguline. I threw away most of this container once I saw it started constipating my son. Will never try again.
I had to stop breastfeeding my son and finding a formula that agrees with his tummy has been horrible. He was on Enfamil, Similac, Gerber, soy formulas, and Nutramagen! They all caused him horrible gas and tummy issues, lots of spit up, colic, and even a rash. This was my last ditch effort. I felt so horrible seeing my little guy go through all of this. This formula saved us! It mixes great with warm water which I like, it agrees with his tummy, and best of all his rash cleared up within a couple of bottles! He is so calm now and barely cries, he is a much happier baby and I get a lot of smiles now! The price is great as well which helps a lot.
I occasionally have to supplement with formula. After trying several brands, store and name brand, we keep coming back to this one. It is the only one my daughter will drink consistently, she doesn't spit up, and seems satisfied. She is gassy no matter if she takes breast milk or formula and I haven't noticed any more of less gas when using this. Overall I would recommend this whether you are supplementing or exclusively using formula. It is a good price and mixes well.
Even though the label says to compare it to the nutrition of Similac Sensitive, that does not mean that the ingredients are the same. Similac Sensitive is lactose free, Parent's Choice is low lactose. That can make a big difference if your baby can tolerate this formula or not. Also Similac Sensitive does not contain palm olein oil which can cause constipation. Please dont be mislead by thinking this formula is the same because it is not.
Very great formula for baby's with colic!
