Singer Sewing Essentials

It took me a long time to get it open and when I did thread flew out. How good is the product if I can't get it open. By the time I did get it open, I was too discouraged to look at it. Besides I had to hunt down thread that flew out. Please don't get this for you grandma that has arthritis because she'll be able to do is look at it. If I'm going to design a sewing kit, the first thing I would do is make it easy open. Many sewing kits have a lever on the outside for opening. After I got a light and got down really close I saw an arrow. But it's all red and doesn't stand out at all. There's no sound when you have pushed down enough to open it. Nothing says to push down, it's an arrow pointing out. You have to push down and find something to pull out. I don't know where to grasp. And the whole time the thread keeps falling out when I try to close it back. It doesn't fit back together right, I had to close the sides separate and they didn't close all the way. They took a good idea and ruined it. This appears as a cheap product that can never be perfected and looks inferior to the Singer name.

I like this sewing accessory kit. The only thing, they say there is medium and large spools of thread, but there is really, small and large. Still I like it.

i got this for my 13 year old to go with the sewing machine we got her for Christmas. she really loved it. it has so many neat sewing notions and is all well organized. this was well worth the money
