I was looking forward to getting the Regalo hook-on high chair for my grandson. When it arrived, I assembled it only to discover that the metal rods were tweaked. The whole unit was crooked. It looked like it may have been used. There were spots of rust as well as spots were the paint was chipping. I hope this was a fluke and not the norm for this product. Needless to say, I returned the product.

I bought this specifically for when we travel for the holidays so my son didn't have to sit in our laps at dinner time. We were in a hurry to grt it ordered and shipped before christmas, it was one of rhe cheapest. Well I read from another review that it doesn't work it a table has a lip and my sisters in law table did so we couldn't use it at the table. My husband improvised and placed it on a saddle bar stool against the wall (so it didn't fall back) and my son ate off the bar stool lol, which was fine. Other than the table lip issue it's great for using in restaurants, eating at a food courts or traveling. I really like that's it can be folded for easy and little storage. Next time if we need another I would do better research.

I really wanted to like this product. The price point is fantastic but the quality control is horrible. I bought one of these online only to have it missing parts when I picked it up at the Walmart store. I ordered a second one thinking it was going to be ok wrong both of the arms were "bent" making it unusable as well as the first one. Luckily I went into a Walmart store and found the same brand but a nicer model to be on clearance. I opened up that box and make sure everything was working like it was supposed to. I ended up purchasing it on clearance for half the price of this one.

We bought a "present-day version" of the hook-on high chair we used when our granddaughter was small. The unit is neither as handy nor as useful as as the 15-year previous unit. If there is another brand on the market consider it first; if not, make due with this one.
