Fire-Safe 1100 Security Chest

I would give 5 stars but it is just slightly too small to fit 8x11 documents unless you fold them in half. I personally store birth certificates, passports, car titles, kids vaccination records, etc in them. I purchased a similar but larger box to keep what I didnt want to or too thick to be folded, such as our wills, POA, marriage certificates, etc.

Needed to keep child's medicine locked up for college so wanted an all in one Fireproof / safe box for all her items and this states (no Medicine) I found out after the fact.

This safe is compact and easy to use. It fits nicely on the corner of my desk. I use it to hold my wallets, an expensive watch, car keys, and similar items, and there is room for more in there. It opens with a simple turn of the key. At under $20, I'm fully satisfied.

This is my third Sentry firebox safe. I have two of this size and one of the larger. They are excellent for what they're intended; protection of important papers and items in case of a fire. They are well built and solid and the lock works fine. For the money, you can't beat them.

I just received this safe so I don't know how it will do in the long run or in a fire. However, it is the right size and shape for what I needed and you can't beat the price. I bought it Site to Store online and it arrived quickly and was easy to pick up in the store.
