For me, 1,000 minutes of talk, 1,000 texts, and 30 MB of internet has been MORE than PLENTY! I don't use the internet very often on the phone, only in emergencies when I don't have WiFi access for my netbook. I just don't like having to deal with a small screen for my internet use. It's just a personal preference. I have never come close to running out of minutes, texts, or internet. But, I'm not a teenager or a twenty-something!

$30 for all 1000 minutes and text, is an unbelieveable price for me, as soon as I found out about this service, I dumped my other cell phone company, I was paying $64 per month for 1000 minutes without text. This may not have unlimited nights or weekends, but that is ok because in addition to the 1000 minutes I get 1000 texts. This is the best deal for me

When I first looked into StraightTalk I thought "oh, no, it's from TracFone." I used to have TracFone and had nothing but problems with it. I found out it uses the same towers as Verizon and thought, well, I guess I might as well try it for a month just to see. I've had StraightTalk for nearly a year now and haven't had much desire for change. The only real downside is that the phones are a bit expensive, and there aren't many on the market. StraightTalk is still a bit new, though, so they'll probably catch up to today's fancy phones eventually, and then I'll upgrade. The service cards are what they say they are. 1000 minutes, 1000 texts, 30 mb of data for $30 without tax or service charges. Unlimited means unlimited for $45 without tax or service charges. No hidden fees during the month, but you must refill before midnight the night your service ends or your phone is unusable. $45 for completely unlimited service is a great deal, and $30 for 1000 minutes and 1000 texts is really good, too. I personally get the $30 card because I don't use 1000 minutes or texts in 30 days. I think you'd pretty much have to be on the phone constantly to rack that up. I text quite a bit as it is and I've never used over 500 in 30 days. Overall, the phones are a little lacking but the service is unbeatable.

I have no complaints at all. This is the best deal out there for what you get. Huge savings! I wish the phone selection was better, but I'm sure that will change over time. The service is good. I don't think I've been out of range one time yet. Very happy with straight talk! Now all my friends want it but all of them are stuck with the 2 year contracts. This is definitely worth trying out.
