These are very bright. I was going to order more but the price doubled in one year

I purchased this set of 3 lights, but 1 of them is broken where it screws onto the body of this light. I have two of them set up and they seem to be working ok and in 1 piece. This is not the first time I've ordered this brand, but the reason I had to replace my older one is because of the rubber seal that was around the part that is screwed in got brittle and water ended up getting inside the light, causing it to malfunction. I can understand that after having my light outside for about 4 years, but a brand new light should not be broken in the same area to allow water to get in. I'm not about to take down the other 2 lights just for a return, so my advice is to check all lights before keeping them... my broken one was the last one I picked up from the box and being wrapped in bubble wrap made it impossible to see damage.

We live in the country It's dark out here. We picked up 3 of them to light up the path to the barn and to my mom's house 300 yards across the pasture. These light are amazing. 2 D batteries last over a year. These lights are set off by squirrels, dogs and insects, but they are't obtrusive or obnoxious with the light. The amount of light is perfect as a smaller version of a full size flood light. Water Proof too! To mount on a tree; 1) cut a Pressure Treated 2X6 eight inches in length. Screw board into the tree to give you a flat surface to secure light onto a flat surface. Then you can angle your Mr. Beams into which ever direction you need to light up. Simple & Easy!

The new double Mr. Beam battery motion lights are great. I have used them for the past two years, First putting the single beam one on each side of my RV Travel Trailer. Security and convince. Then bouget the double one for the front door area at the house, save electricity, don't have to remember to turn on the porch light if leaving early. Then put one at the trailer door area for safety when RV ING. They are water proof, battery's last years. Easy to put up, no wiring.

These lights are great. They are set at just the right level of sensitivity. We saw these lights in single packaging somewhere else and they were more expensive...the same brand. We are very pleased with our purchase.
