Fisher-Price Rainforest Friends Cradle 'n Swing

We were gifted this at my baby shower. For the first few months, my baby hated it - until I realized it could swing two ways, she liked sideways but not back and forth. From then on it was a life savor! She had reflux and colic and only liked sleeping in our arms, but suddenly she was sleeping in this swing. After 3 months, it was nice to have somewhere to put her down safely. When she got older she realized there was a mirror under the cradle, and saw the monkeys, and it was a HUGE perk for her. Loved the music too, great selection. LOVE that you can plug it in! 2 downsides - if you are going to travel and hope to bring this along, forget about it. And secondly, when you switch speeds (let's say you baby falls asleep and you want to slow it down) the motor makes a loud noise as it tries to readjust. Not a huge downfall. I would have paid for this myself if I hadn't received it as a gift.

The only reason it's not getting 5 stars is because sometimes it does squeak (which drives me up the wall). But overall this is such an amazing swing! My son loves it! Out of all the swings he's been in, he's most content in his own. He's 15 lbs and it swinging speeds have not slown down at all since he got it for Christmas (in 2015). He's had it for 3 months and we've never had a problem with it!

bought this to replace a hand me down. We didn't want to to spend a lot of money so the price was very attractive. We like the swing a lot except for two things. 1) the strap design is flawed. It has a little tab that's meant to prevent it from coming through the holes. The tabs don't work very well so it's very easy for the strap to come out when doing it up. We used some of the tape used to hold the parts together for shipping to secure it. 2) it's says good for 0-6 months on average UT could be up to 12 months depending on babies size. Our baby is tiny. She was born only 5 pounds 5 ounces. However she was long, 20". At six weeks old she is long enough that if she gets longer she will outgrow it already.

Easy to setup.very colorful baby enjoys looking at the monkeys and mirror but when you turn on the monkeys to spin it's very noisy and the noise does not go away. Also the speed seems very fast even on number one would not recommend for newborns but good for babies 4months and older

The fisher-price cradle and swing is a great swing. My mother in law and sister have there own cradle and swing and my baby loves them! I ordered this swing and it came with a bent leg so the bar that holds the swing would hit the leg if swinging side to side. The mobile was also so loud I would never have used the mobile. We returned the swing and are borrowing a cradle and swing which she loves.
