Samsung SCH-S720C Galaxy Proclaim - 2GB - Black (Straight Talk) Smartphone

This phone not only met, but exceeded all my expectations. It may be a small cell phone of only 3.5 inches screen size, but it packs a powerful punch. Powered by Verizon services, means that the speed is highly exceptional and way better than I thought it would be. Super fast speed. Crystal clear display, and the camera takes some of the best pictures I have ever seen. My HTC EVO 4G with a forward and back facing camera couldn't deliver the photo quality of the Samsung Galaxy Proclaim. I love that this phone does not lag and hang like my other cell phone did. The only feature that this phone does not have, is the weather located beneath the time on the home screen, but I downloaded the weather channel app to make up for that. It also does not keep rebooting itself like my other cell phone. All in all, there is nothing you wouldn't like about this great phone. I would buy it again if my other one ever got done in.

We are rather new to this area, so getting lost was getting to be a habit. I wanted a cell phone that had a browser and would let me find directions from where I happened to be to where I wanted to go, and I looked at quite a few cell phones. This one has a lot to offer. I highly recommend it, in fact I am getting one for my husband for his birthday.

The Samsung Galaxy Proclaim is a decent, entry level smart phone, and is the first such phone I've owned. The telephone feature works quite well. I replaced my original phone about a week after I received it. The original phone was not properly shifting the screen from vertical (portrait) to horizontal (landscape) when turning the phone "on its side." The view changed from vertical no more than than a quarter of the time. This caused problems for me trying to use the small keypad when in the vertical mode due to my large fingers. I exchanged the phone for one of the same model and am using it with no more problems.

I have this same phone but bought this one for my husband. Great value for the money. I also paid more money for mine. The only thing you have to be careful of with Straight Talk is knowing which cellular service you particular phone runs off of. Some are At&T,Sprint, Verizon. That is the answer when it comes to dropped calls and other issues. My 1st Straight Talk phone ran on AT&T and was not good in my area. This Samsung runs on Verizon which is better in my area, no more dropped calls. I have been really pleased with the phone. Funny that I used to be a Verizon customer for years paid $150 + a month to share 1400min and text with no internet. Now I have unlimited everything for less than a $100.

I bought one of these phone for my husband and when wegot my daughter loved it also and she went and bought her onee. Our biggest thing isit run off of verizon towers has most of straight talks phone run off of AT&T which doesn't get service in our area . But love the phone would recommend it :)
