Huawei H226C - Fixed cellular terminal - Straight Talk

First double check and make sure the MEID number on your device matches your activation card. Mine had the wrong activation card; what ever you do don't try to port your home phone number! For 3 days I've been going back and forth with Straight talk on my phone number, they activated the device with an out of state number because of the wrong activation card, thought I got it straightened around but every their system refreshes I loose my correct number and go back to the out of state number still isn't fixed and dealing with this has been beyond frustrating!! Taking my business back to Time Warner...guess you get what you pay for!

I purchase one of these units last year and it did ok for a long time. I bought this one hoping it would work, but it started messing up in about five days. When making a call it might go through and drop it after a few seconds or minutes and sometimes it let you talk. I switch my service back to at&t yesterday.

Will have to return it to WalMart. Signal strength too weak at our home. All conversations crackle and break up. We also use Verizon mobile phone which work well but the Straight Talk unit does not even though it uses Verizon. Don' know why but tired of trying to make it work.

I RECIEVED THE STRAIGHT TALK WIRELESS HOME PHONE ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2013. AFTER NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS TO TECH SUPPORT TO HAVE MY EXISTING PHONE NUMBER CHANGED FROM MY OLD COMPANY TO STRAIGHT TALK, AS OF SEPTEMBER 18,2013 IT STILL HAS NOT BEEN DONE. THE PHONE CONCEPT IS GOOD, THE SUPPORT IS BAD. IF YOU BUY ONE GOOD LUCK.

I bought the straight talk home phone. I picked it up at Walmart. Before it arrived I attempted to buy the $15 straight talk home phone card. Twice they rejected my credit card. A few days later I called straight talk from my bank. They said I had to go back to the bank the next day and fax my checking account statement to them. I had over $1000 in the account. So I returned the straight talk home phone and went to the ATT store and purchased a go cell phone. It is the principle. If they don't trust me. No money for them!
