This $299 iPhone 4s with straight talk is the the the best value I have found. With 3 gig of data and unlimited talk and text it's half the price of the contract plans. And, really hassle free. You buy the phone and when you activate it on Straight Talk's website set it up to automatically update and forget about it.

After two Androids that basically failed after a year, I thought I'd finally jump on the Apple bandwagon. It's so much faster than any phone I've had before. I've had Straight Talk for a while now and have used Verizon towers on my Androids and was never able to send pictures via text until now (a picture would take an hour if it ever sent). My apps don't freeze or snag, my calls don't drop and navigation doesn't stop randomly. Visual Voicemail is handy, and yes it's available on Straight Talk despite what others have said. It's also nice being able to see when other people with iPhones are texting you before you dump more texts into the conversation. The only drawback is the inability of adding a third party keyboard like Swiftkey or Swype- but with iOS 8 coming in a few months, these will be available. For the price of the phone and plan per month, this is the best out there.

I purchased the IPhone 4S 8gb not realizing how little storage it had. After syncing my ITunes to the phone I did not have enough room for my pictures and my apps. I returned it for a refund.
