Straight Talk Samsung Prepaid Galaxy Ace Style Smartphone with Bonus $30 Walmart Gift Card

I received my phone started the set up got to the point of transferring the contact log wasn't sure how to do that called Straight Talk direct that was a waist of time. They told me I had to Enter the information one at a time. Went to u tube found what I was looking for transferred my contact information to SD card but when it came time to transfer info to the new phone there was no import/export tab on the new phone . I contacted Straight Talk again after rebooting the phone several times and going back and forth they recommend that I contact the returns department. After several times rebooting the phone with that person they told me to return the phone for a replacement. I was informed that it would take 10 to 14 days to replace the phone and a lot of time on the phone with them.

This is my first smart phone. Although I have had nothing comparable in the past, I am really impressed with this phone for the price. The reception and sound quality, the camera, and the ease that I was able to navigate the phone, are some of my favorite features. The size is perfect as well. It's big enough that I am able to type easily, yet not too bulky. I am definitely a Galaxy fan!

I like the phone just fine but it sure does go through the battery fast! Most things are much simpler to do on this phone compared to my older Sam Galaxy Centura. I would keep a separate charge cable in the car or with you as this does need to be charged pretty often. For the price I really can't fault the phone though, it's a good value for someone who just needs a simple phone not a walking computer with a ridiculous price tag.

This is my first Smartphone and I love it! It's very easy to use, and does everything except wash dishes! The screen is large, though I did download a keyboard with bigger letters to facilitate typing. My son has the identical phone and also loves it. Monthly service for the two Smartphones costs the same, per month, as the two dumb phones. The new phones use the towers of the company with the nation's best coverage and gives us unlimited text, internet and long distance. Previously we only had long distance. Why would anyone choose a different plan?

I have only had the phone for two weeks. That being said, it's a perfect upgrade from my Samsung Proclaim. I'm enjoying the newer Android system. It's not a big phone, I like it that way. The screen is big enough at 4". It's responsive and since I use Google for all my contacts, loading them into this new phone was a breeze. I have been using the Straight Talk prepaid service for the past couple of years. I can't complain. They are cheaper by far, and we simply have not had any issues. I especially appreciate that we are not tied down with a contract. This particular phone uses Verizon towers so I don't have any issues with dropping calls or too many areas where I can't get a signal. We took a trip across the country last year and had no more issues than we would have had with Sprint or Verizon. (Have been their customers for years) I would recommend this phone to a friend.
