Wolverine Raider 6" Work Boot Men Brown

These shoes look fantastic. They wear very comfortable. They fit right on the money (they don't run small or large). The issue is I haul fuel (gas and diesel). The soles is where the breakdown begins. To Wolverine's credit, I think the petroleum just eats through the soles of any shoe. The rubber starts coming off in strips in about the fourth month and I wore them through six months. With all of this being said, I've never had any shoes really last more than 8 months in the work I do. I just ordered and received a new pair and I intend on using the new ones for everyday wear, out on the town, church, ect. I like the way they look that much. Currently I am wearing the new Hellcat from Wolverine at work and I've been wearing them for three months with no sole issues so far, but that boot is not nearly as good looking as this Raider (if that matters). I don't regret buying the Raider, I just wish the sole lasted longer in my industry. If you work in just about any other industry than petroleum, I'm sure the boot works and lasts great.

This boot has lasted an average of two years. They are very comfortable and the durashock make it my favorite pair to wear. I average 45-50 hours a week. Work both in a warehouse and and ltl delivery driver. My last pair lasted the longest 3 years. And they had them in black. I've tried other boots and keep coming back to this one.

I will literally wear these boots 12 to 15 hours a day 7 days a week for two years plus before I start to think about getting new ones. When I get new ones it's to replace the pair or two I keep in reserve. As a carpenter my whole life I bought many boots but these are the best!

After looking around for a while for a good sturdy boot, these boots really surprised me. In this market of choices either good or bad , these boots stand out head and shoulders above the outside competition. I use them daily for outside work in the African bush and it is really up to it. Comfortable and hard working. I will surely buy another pair when these guys are in need of retirement. Keep up the good work Wolverine!
