Sony Walkman NWZ-S544BLK - Digital player - 8 GB - black

This is a great little mp3 player. The sound quality is great, it's easy to use and it played for 3 days, 12 hours a day and the battery indicator still showed 1/2 charge left. I used the player to play audiobooks and it bookmarked nicely. The only problem I had with the walkman was, during a two hour book chapter I hit the wrong button and started the book chapter over. To fast forward to where I was, required holding the fast forward button for 20 minutes. I'd highly recommend the player for music... and great for audiobooks except as noted above.

This was a HUGE hit with my daughter (12) and all her friends. They loved the speakers, color (violet is beautiful and doesn't blend in with all our other black gadgets), and the picture quality of the screen. The included "stand" needs a bit more engineering for use by impatient teens. Also, don't "sync all files" or ALL your music, pics, and videos will be transferred (learned that the hard way!!). Overall, this is a very easy to use product. Our other kids have already placed this on their Christmas lists. We will be getting more!

I purchased this walkman for my son's 8th birthday, It was by far his favorite present. I purchased the other version of the sony walkman last year for myself, I love his even more. Very easy to operate aned download music to. I love the fact that you dont have to wear ear plugs to listen to your music. And the pictures are very clear, I would definetly recommend this product.

The screens are easy to navigate and buttons are layed out good. I had to purchase a arm band from an alternate source (DLO DLA69029D/17 Sony Walkman Action Jacket) because of the reviews of the recommended one did not fit well. The Action Jacket fits the unit great, has an alternate belt clip-on or a stretch band w/velcro for the arm. The software (on the walkman) works great with iTunes or you can use Windows Explorer to add/remove songs, etc... the only thing I didn't care for is having to make my Playlists on "Windows Media Player" (recommended). With the In-Store pickup option saving $30.00 and the features on the unit all-in-all was a great alternative to the double the price iPods.

Sony is the Best when it comes to electronics!!! This is my second Sony brand mp3 player and I am extremely happy!!! It has a headphone/speaker button that allows you to listen to your music in private or share with those around you (it has build-in speakers) with a simple switch of the button. The Sony mp3 is very light weight and very easy to use. It is also very easy to upload pictures and music to it. This is a wonderful mp3 player for beginners and advance mp3 users. I 100% would recommend to this to anyone.
