everyone is right about how tight these are on your head - I neither could have, or would have lived with them as they were, but I did like the sound, so I decided to take off the headband part, and heat in oven to 200 degrees, then bend till they fit well. (guesstimated, and got it the first time, cause you wont really know, till you put them back together) if you want to try the same, 200 degrees is safe for any plastic, but if u do happen to break them, don't blame me. they're great now, and if they had been this way to begin with, I'd have have given them a five star all the way around.

Love them. This product fits my needs and I was very pleased with them. Pros:comfortable, swivel and twist slightly to fit your head, don't hurt your ears,don't require batteries, lightweight, durable, if needed volume can be very high or very low depending on the source, very thick durable cord, can be worn for long periods of time comfortably, fit nicely around neck Cons:can't adjust volume on the headphones, some parts seem breakable but are still strong This product is to my standards a mid-line Sony product. Sure you can get better headphones but for the price why bother.These give the average user comfortable listening without the big bucks. If you are someone that needs sound-booth quality headphones I recommend looking for a different pair of headphones.

These are absolutely the best headphones I've ever had. I've bought these before and when I finally wore them out I was so happy to find they were still being made. The sound is perfect and they aren't too big or bulky on your head or around your neck when your not listening. The cord is a bit too long if your using them for an iPod or something else close to you, but other than that, they are wonderful.

I picked up these headphones as an upgrade with the ipod nano that I purchased. I will just say that the 5 star rating for "meets expectations" is a little misleading. These headphones go far beyond any expectations that I could have had. A must buy for anyone who loves music.

its amazing for music that has a lot of bass like rap/hip-hop and such but for techno alternative metal or rock it doesn't deliver such a good response. its structurally secure and sound doesn't look like it will break (something i expect in sony) the price was great only 19 and even comes with an adapter for older audio equipment. the cord is nice and long great for computers and DJ's. outside noise becomes a small issue its not quite the noise canceler but its alright the sound from the speakers don't leak out too much, i wouldn't have this blasting though. the ear pads crush my head a little bit but its worth it for the sound if you want portability i would get JVC flats but if ur a stationary listener or a DJ these are good for you their the second best or the best within the 20 dollar price range
