I find these products rather expensive so when I find them on sale I grab them, bein that my 2 year old grandson loves thomas the train. The only problem I have with this particular toy is that the bridge sides are suppose to stay up till the train goes threw & they don't . They keep falling back down so that sort of defeats the whole purpose in the toy. The train is suppose to knock down the rickety bridge sides. It is well made, & I'am happy with their thomas stuff so far except for this particular toy.I would not recommend this.
This track is just not worth wasting your money on. the track doesn't stay together and the train will not stay on the track for long. The train constantly falls off the track and it cannot pull anything but itself up the hills. yeah the price is low for thomas but in the end my son just ended up playing with the train on his other track sets so i could have just bought a new train and saved money.
I bought this track for my 4yr old for Christmas. Its is not the greatest track but for the price I cant complain. He just loves Thomas.I woiuldnt recommend for older kids but its great for ones just beginning their love of trains. The train does go around the track pretty well; its held up better so far than some of the others we have purchased in the past
My 5-year old son played with it for about 2 minutes before getting bored. It's nothing more than a small oval track with an elevated "bridge." The shake shake bridge has railings that fall to the side as the engine passes over. That's it. The rails must then be set back up by hand each time the train passes for the effect. Really sorry that I wasted money on this item.
I'm not impressed with this item at all. I purchased it on sale from Walmart for my 2 year old son. He loves the battery operated train but he gets very frusterated that the the train does not stay on the track and it pulls apart easily. BOO THOMAS for not creating a top notch item.
