Fisher Price Blitz Boys Jeep

I bought this car for my 18 month old son because he loves cars. This is his first battery operated car so I was not sure how he would do with it. It is a good size for him and he likes sitting in it and pushing it around. Once he gets older he will be able to steer and push the gas (for more than a few seconds). I do wish it had a radio, horn and a working door like the barbie jeep but his next one have those for sure. Good first jeep for him to learn with. For now he sits in it and I bend down pushing the gas. I used it outside on grass today and it worked fine. It made it up a slight incline. The turn radius is very wide though. Cute car for a young toddler but might be too small for a large sized toddler or for someone over 3.

We were very pleased with the jeep until our 2 yr. old attempted to drive it on grass. The back wheels do nothing but spin and he became very frustrated. The jeep works great on concrete but unfortunately we don't have a large enough concrete area for him to ride on except in the street. We recommend the jeep but only if you have a place for your child to ride that isn't on the grass.

My husband had been wanting to buy our grandson a powered Jeep since he was born 2 years ago. I was hesitant because of his age; I checked with Mom and Dad, got their OK and started our search. When we found this one on Walmart's site, it was the best price, especially combined with shipping free to our local store. The only problem we had was attaching the plastic grips to the wheels; our hot water was not hot enough to loosen them sufficiently (the only reason we gave 4 stars regarding our expectations). We were able to apply them when we got to our daughter's house Xmas morning. The Jeep was a REALLY BIG HIT with our 2-year-old grandson; after we brought it in Xmas morning, he didn't want to open any other gifts. We only have one problem after this purchase: How to top this gift next year!

This jeep has only 1 motor and was hard for my 2 year old to steer straight. It tended to veer off one way. Also the battery could not be use with the 6 volt quick charger and you could not use the extra 6-volt batteries that Wal-mart sells with this jeep. I returned it and I am looking to get a better quality battery opperated vehicle.

I tried to find somewhere that would say how old your kids should be for this jeep and couldn't find anything so I took a chance and bought it anyway. I have a very petite 5 year old and he MIGHT be able to use it when the snow melts. Actually its the perfect size for my 16 month old. My 5 year old is about the size of an average 4 year old so I would say for 3 and under.
