Little Tikes Play Like a Pro Basketball Set

For only kids up to 5 years old- the ball is to small and so is the net- unstable and not solid- returned- wont recommend unless you kids is small..

My son loves it! Its perfect for kids 4 and older.

This is definitely the size you want if you have preschool age kids. Our kids are 1.5, 3 and 5 and they use it on the second lowest setting (there are 5 settings), so there is still lots of room to grow. Our 3 year old is quite tall but even if she wasn't you still wouldn't want it any lower than the first setting (4 ft). The 1.5 year old can't reach yet, but she doesn't understand the concept of putting the ball in the net yet either, so getting one of the shorter ones so she could "use" it doesn't really make sense. The colors are nice, not too bright, it looks reasonable in our backyard. The ball is great. It is too soft to hurt anyone with, but it isn't foam. It is still inflated, so it bounces and feels like a real basketball (you can actually dribble it properly). The one downside I think is that it only comes with one ball. You can order an extra set of 4 for cheap directly from little tikes, and I think that makes it more fun. Also, without the sand in the base it is very light, so it will be easy to put away when winter comes. All in all, lots of fun, I think we will use it a lot.
