8 Gallon Humidifier

I just moved back to Wisconsin from Texas towards the end of Janurary, into a new apartment (heat included.) I have suffered from dry sinisus and mild nose bleeds until I obtained the Holmes Cool Mist Humidifier. My sister also had problems with her sinisus when she would come over to visit due to the dry heat. My apartment (no MY Home) is now humid and my nose has never been better. It's variable settings, allows me to control the amount of moisture in my home, it is virtualy noiseless and low maintenance and it's 24 hour run time per fill is great! I highly recommend the Holmes Cool Mist Humidifier!

Our eye doctor said we should get a humidifier and this one seems to do the trick. We are amazed at how much water it needs to add to our home. It is very easy to use, but we are going through filters very quickly. We are going to try using the water additives and other options to try to increase the filter life.

After much research we ordered this humidifier. Humidifier arrived expeditiously. Easy set up. Works great! We live in the desert and our house is so dry. We now sleep much better with the humidifier running. We use the medium setting for when we sleep and the high setting during the day. Definitely recommend this humidifier.

My mother bought this product for my 3 month old daughter. I set it up in my daughter's room one night and her breathing was still questionable. My husband and I were in our room on the other side of the house and it made him stop snoring. It also cleared away my fever and cold symptoms. We both felt fully rested and we never felt better. The challenge is finding a product that will help our daughter.

This humidifier does my whole house, a large two-story with three bedrooms. I placed it downstairs between my dining and living rooms. It seems a little loud on the high setting, so I run it on medium and we have no problems hearing the TV or having conversations. It has really helped with the static electricity problems, dry skin and lips, and I have been able to turn my thermastat back 2 degrees, because the moisture in the air makes the house feel warmer. If you have gas heat, that is a money saver. The replacement filters are easy to find and fairly inexpensive. Buy the filters at Walmart, $9.97, they will cost twice as much to order them from the Holmes company. The only complaint I have about the humidifier is how it looks. It stands out like a sore thumb among all my country decor, wood accents and earth tones. A brown, wood look design would have been nice.
