Mainstays Sofa Set

This patio set looks great, very affordable, and comfortable too. The only problem I have with it, is that it's the hardest darn thing to put together. And that's me being nice about it. The holes don't line up or are too small, the screws don't go in the right way, and it's just very time consuming and not assembly friendly. If you have someone else to put it together for you then it's great, but just expect a LOT of hassle and frustration with assembly otherwise. >.<

I almost didn't purchase this set because of some of the reviews but I am so glad I did! A couples things I want to clarify which were the reasons listed that caused me to almost pass up this great deal.. 1. The cushions ARE replaceable. They are thick cushions so if you had to replace, you would have to purchase thick cushions which they sell everywhere like pool places, Walmart, Target, etc.. There are clips on these that help keep the cushion on the seat in case of wind but you don't need them on this set or any replacement set..it is a matter of convenience not necessity. 2. All outdoor furniture eventually rusts though one reviewer mentioned his started to rust pretty quick. So far, so good on my set and we have had many downpours. To prevent, spray with a protectant or go the lazy route like me and just get chair covers to cover during inclement weather. 3. Like others have said, they are cheaper in the store-50$ cheaper! I bought my set for 148.00 in my local store 4. It was easy to put together. My husband is the crab of all crabs when it comes to putting things together and usually needs assistance but was easily able to put together without calling me outside to help like he has always done before during assembly projects. My advice, get a box that isn't torn up and you shouldn't have to worry about missing parts but if it's the last box like in our case, open it and and make sure the hardware package is in there like I had to because the box I got was pretty beat up. 5. This was a great purchase. It is sturdy, looks so much more expensive then it really was and people pay 800.00 for sets like this..as a matter of fact, I saw this same set in green on EBay for almost 600.00. I hope this helps! I was so unsure because it seems like some of the reviews and q&a below contradicts so though I have never written a review before because who has time..it was important for me to write one for this particular product to clear up some confusion and to assist others looking for a deal but not to waste their money:). This is not a disposable set and if you cover it during the winter season or during harsh climate changes, this set should last several years. God bless!

We bought this for our new three seasoned porch. We got a great deal, only paid 155 bucks. It's very well made and was easy to put together. Looks fantastic on the porch. Chairs and love seat are very comfortable and the table is top quality. We've only had it for a few weeks, but have enjoyed it so much already! I def would recommend this set for sure...It won't fit in a regular car, so keep that in mind! GREAT VALUE!

It's a nice set for it's price. The quality is ok for the price. The color is completly different that the one in the picture. I recommend to check it in the store, because is not even close. The assambly is really simple but the instructions are the worst. Once you figure it out it takes not time to put together.

I recently purchased this product, and I also recently ordered my second round of replacement parts. I have received very poor customer service from the company that manufactures the furniture. The holes for the screws are misaligned, and unless you are able to bend metal, you will not be able to fit the pieces together. I am thoroughly disappointed in the purchase. I currently have one chair and a table sitting on my patio, when I should have a complete set. Spend the extra money for something of higher quality. I wish I had!!
