Sew Cool Machine Purple Walmart Exclusiv

The Sew Cool was very simplistic to use with a few complications. The instructions were very easy and the crafting supplies were perfect for the age range. I enjoyed the inclusion of prints and patterns , giving my child a real base for sewing knowledge and skills. The one complication I did run into was with the sewing itself. I found that while the sewing was taking place my daughter had minor issues pushing the fabric under the sewing platform. This might have just been user error as this is the first time she's ever done something like this. Overall my daughter enjoyed the time we spent sewing and is already wanting new patterns and more fabric! I would definitely recommend this product to other parents with kids who would like to practice sewing.

I thought that this sewing machine would be great for my five year old to "learn" on. I was sadly disappointed in it. I understand that it isn't a real sewing machine but thought that it would be fun to do with my little girl. It's a cheap plastic imitation and I wouldn't waste the money or energy getting it from the store or out of the box. I would buy a simple Brother machine to have her learn on instead.

My neices absolutely love this product. It's durable and a nice color and its built to last. They love it so much that I'm in the process of looking for refills. I think its awesome if you would like to spend time with your kids and also get sewing done because it would allow you to do just that. It'll keep your kids busy while your busy sewing.

The Sew Cool is easy to use and I think it's a great crafting machine for young children to learn crafting. It comes with a starter kit that consists of patterns, 8 sheets of pre-cut fabric that you can design your own projects and 3 pre cut sew cool projects. It also includes decorative fabric pieces, buttons, purse strap and a small bag of stuffing. The machine is operated by 4AA batteries and needs no threading. The machine is pre loaded with thread but I'm not sure what the thread is made of. The cons I have for the sew cool are the machine can only use fabric included or sew cool fabrics that can be purchased and I haven't found any yet but still checking. The sew cool is more of a crafting machine that uses felt like material and no other kind of fabric can be used or it will jam the machine. The second con I have is the thread, it has a soft texture and does not hold well on corners of fabric even after double stitching as recommended by the instructions. Although this is considered a toy, adult supervision should be used for young children. I have included a picture of the included pre-cut handbag made by my 5yr old granddaughter, it's really easy to use.

It is a simple to use Sewing System for any young woman 6 years and older. It is safe to use and makes learning a fun and secure adventure. Perfect to help young women to learn an new hobby that is clean and simple. This is perfect for getting a young woman ready for a real sewing machine without the expensive costs of machine, needles and thread.
