I have a GE washing machine and it's the best I have ever had. No problems for the many years I have had it. So when buying a dryer, my first thought was to purchase a GE dryer. I haven't had the dryer long, but it is doing a wonderful job so far. I expect a lot from GE appliances. My GE stove is 30 years old and going strong.

I love my new dryer. I have tried different products and they don't last too long before either starts making noises or having to replace a part. I have no problems out of this product. It has out lasted the other products already in such short time.

I was leary about getting a model that did not have push button controls, like the unit I was replacing, but the dial controls work well. I like that fact that it runs quietly, and that there is a volume control for the buzzer that lets you know when the load is done. I also like the feature that allows you to have the spin continue for a few minutes after the clothes are dry to prevent wrinkling. The only feature of my old Maytag unit that I miss is an LED screen that lets you know how many minutes until the load is dry.

I purchased this dryer to go along with my new GE washer. I chose this because I like my appliances simple. I'm very happy with the dryer and it seems to be working well. I have to get used to the "alarm" which sounds when a load is finished - it keeps startling me, which is funny. However, on this model you can control the volume of the alarm and/or turn it off completely.

Not bad. Perfect size for old style wash rooms where you have less than 30 inches depth to play with. Smart looking, easy to use and extremely quiet compared to my old GE. Would call these drawbacks but a little tricky getting underneath the lint collector when you want to clean out excess lint, and I often have to run things through a second cycle to get things completely dry. But I was fortunate to get through almost 30 years with my old GE dryer. Happy I stayed w GE.
