The Fisher-Price Royal Princess Stepstool Potty is becoming increasingly popular with parents of little ones. The design, color, and texture of this potty training seat, combined with its playful tunes, helps make potty training less stressful for toddlers and parents alike. The potty seat can play four different encouraging tunes for your toddler. The music is sensitive to every drop and keeps time with your child's potty progress, a fun and entertaining feature. To keep it from slipping during use, it attaches directly to your toilet seat. Its removable toilet bowl can be cleaned easily. The seat can also be converted into a Fisher-Price 3-in-1 Potty Seat Toilet Stepstool so your child can stand on it to wash her hands in the sink. The music runs on 3 AA batteries, which is not part of the package. The product is JPMA (Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association) certified to ensure safety.

This has been a great potty for us. I find that if I DRY the cup after cleaning, then there is NO problem with the music going off at random times. I wish there was a feature for making the legs shorter or taller as they grow, because she can't touch her feet to the floor yet, and that makes her anxious, but otherwise, she LOVES the music reward when she goes. I read the other reviews complaining about the music, and I truly believe the cup and sensors are just wet. I have not had the overflow issue yet as she does not go at that level. It's a great potty and I am getting another one to have at Nana's house.

I purchased not one but two of these potty chairs (months apart) because of the feature to let my daughter and me know when she has gone potty.. We have one upstairs and the other is down stairs.. They BOTH randomly go off for any reason.. But neither seem to work when she actually uses it!!! My friend has the one for boys and it does the same thing.. I wish I had read the reviews before wasting money on two of them!! And if I had the receipts I would return them!!

This potty is adorable, and that is all I can say good about it. It does not work. It plays music when nobody is even in the room. My daughter has only used it once where it worked. I would not reccomend this to anybody else. I wish I didn't assume it would work and threw out the box. I would return it in a heartbeat!

The potty chair is fine. My daughter can dump it out and reassemble it herself and it seems to be comfortable for her. The music was cute at first, but then it would start randomly going off in the middle of the night or while taking a shower. We eventually just turned it off and use it as a non-musical potty.

I have never liked this potty, especially compared to my son's Baby Bjorn potty. First of all, the music never worked right. It plays when the floor vibrates (when the kids jump near it) and doesn't play when she pees. Secondly, the cup that holds the potty contents is not easy to carry without spilling. My daughter often spills over when she is carrying it to the toilet, even when she is being careful. In contrast, the Baby Bjorn's cup is much larger, more stable, easier to carry. In my opinion, the music and the step stool conversion are just (annoying) gimmicks that you don't need. I bought a nice step stool for about $6 at Walmart that's much easier to store and carry around. If I could do it over, I would buy my daughter the Baby Bjorn potty instead of this one. Not sure about all the other potties out there, but I'm sure I like the Baby Bjorn and I'm sure I don't like this one.
