Venus Embrace Sister Razor

I use this just for underarms and bikini area... I really think it gets a close shave and I can't say I've noticed any missed hairs. While the handles are super comfortable, they are cheaply made and mine broke already from normal use. I hang it up in the back of the shower every time and I use a different one to travel, so its not being abused (and to reply to other comments, I have NO issue with rusting). So if you don't mind replacing the handle more often than you should, go for it. Otherwise, stick with another product with a more solid handle.

I purchased this a month ago and have recommended it to six of my friends!! The best bikini razor ever! I have ingrown hair issues, but not with this razor! It's the best!

I have loved my previous Venus razors, both Divine and regular. But this razor has so many bells and whistles that it doesn't get the job done. The thing barely fits in my underarms and the head of it is so large that you think you're shaving a spot and you're not because there's about 1/4" on each side of the blades. It may have 5 blades, but with all of that space around them, it's pointless. They should have stuck with 3 blades. If I had my receipt I would ask for my money back, especially considering how expensive they are getting.

I've used Venus razors for some time now but prefer the original Venus simply because of the holder that's placed in the shower. I bought 2 expensive Venus Embrace razors, one for me and one for my daughter. Neither one of the the razor holders will stay shut and one of them will not stay suctioned to my shower. One of them fell down in the shower in the middle of the night and scared the heck out of all of us. And I understand the Embrace will not fit into the orignal holder. Gillette flawed big time when making the holder for their most expensive razor.

Apparently I am not the only one having that problem with the snapped handle. I checked out the other reviews and there are numerous posts on this issue. I received the Venus Embrace as a gift from my sister and I loved it because of the close shave and no razor burn. The plastic handle snapped in half after maybe the 4th or fifth time using it. I kept using it because it was all I had at the time. Is there a replacement policy for this defect other than buying an expensive new one? Thanks, Stephanie
