I am very disappointed with this product. I have been using Gillette razors and blades my whole life. I used the Mach 3 last which served my needs good last year I ordered the fusion 5 , what a dis's appointment! I orded 20 blades and 1 razor. The razor broke on my first blade it wouldn't connect to the blades ! I had 19 refills blades left so I ordered another razor that came with 4 blades. Just running water over it and shaking to clean it broke on the second shave. It won't connect to and blades anymore. What a disappointment!! Now I have 23 refills and no razor!! What a delima! Now I am in search of a new razor . What a shame very disappointed ! I do not recommend to anyone as very poor Quality!
I like many other users had been a Gillette fan for most of my adult life and the fact that I am now 67 should give you a good idea of how many years I was a consumer. Then I decided that in all honesty your product had just priced itself out of the market. I joined one of the many "dollar shave clubs" 7 years ago and actually thought I was getting a good shave. The handles kept braking and I finally became frustrated to the point I bought your Fusion Razor and replacement blades. I was absolutely amazed at the difference! The Gillette Fusion actually made me appreciate what a quality razor felt like. I had become complacent and simply thought that I was getting a close shave when in reality it did not provide anywhere close to the Fusion. At the end of the day it gets back to what my dear departed Father always told me and that was "you get exactly what you pay for". I owe you an apology for trying to replace quality by buying cheaper products and looking for the same result. I am once again a consumer for your product and hope to remain for a long time.
I tried Harry's and used their blade twice. I canceled and told them to get one of your blades and have their techs see how a good blade was made. I told them my month old Gellette was better then their new blade and the trimmer was worthless. The back of their blade is obstructed and can't be cleaned out. Gillette can't be beat for smoothness and quality. I shave dry and never have a problem.
I've had many razors in my day. (I'm 82) and remember "Push-pull-click-click change blades that quick." I also remember when Gillette blades had "Duridium" (whatever that was.) But these blades not only give me my best shave but are cheaper in the long run since they last more than a month of shaves. Can't go wrong with this razor.
So I've always used your razors, and I love them! This is not what made me leave a review, I just saw your new women's commercial with all of “imperfections” as some call them. I wanted to say bravo on how you've have managed to celebrate them! Keep up the awesome work! You've got a lifelong customer.
