The traps are sturdy, snap hard and would surely dispose of the pests. The trap is easy to set and it can be safely done. There has been a bit of a delay to add to that. For the first time in 6 years, no gophers have arrived. Either they are lucky or the Fedex man tipped them off. They have good reason to be shy of my yard.

I'm not in the habit of setting traps, so I enlisted my husband to help with this. The trap was small enough to set down in the tunnel, but setting it was a bit scary for me, the hubby didn't flinch. Lol We did catch a couple of moles with it, but there are just too many in our yard to keep setting these. Overall a good purchase if you dont have a 3 acre yard to try to rid them.

Too much prep work required. Too hard for an inexperienced older woman like me to use. Maybe a man who is familiar with contraptions like this might be okay with it. Preparing the gopher hole and setting the trap was too tedious. I would prefer baiting them and ridding my property of the varmints in other ways. Eeewwww it is not dead! What am supposed to do now? Would not buy one for me to use.

These traps are easy to set up. Great directions and packaged well. We've placed our traps but haven't caught anything yet. May be too early in the season yet or it's possible we have them in the wrong spot. Hoping the can grab a mole or three, as well.
