Tow Broadcast Fertilizer Spreader

Unit arrived in good shape with all parts assembly manual has enough detail to assemble properly rating the unit we'll have to wait until spring the only comment at this time I'm not fond of the fact when using the handle to control the amount of material coming out of the unit has no hard stop so I'm guessing each time open and close it control the output of material.

Not a good spreader. Product dispensed very unevenly. The gate a bottom of hopper binds and the cable/handle failed right away. They sent me a replacement and it failed too. Hopper won't hold 85#s, 2 40# bags of lime won't fit in hopper.. Returned unit.

Box was missing parts. Clevix pin retaining Clip, Shaft clip, Cotter Pins, and axle drive pin hole in wrong location.. Doesn't spin on its own I had to glue the wheel bearing assemblies to the axle shafts, but glue broke under load. Also one tire tube was torn , pinched when assembled. My guess from folded pinched rubber tube.. Probably have to JB Weld the bearings solid. Didn't get to assemble until after return warranty was over due to flooding from Hurrican Hanna.

Would have got 5 stars but the first time I used it the gears stripped half way through my 10 bags of pellet lime.Emailed agri-fab and they had a new part shipped out the next day.If I had it to do over I would buy one with metal gears.I'll use it till it breaks again and then get the better one.

I thinks the spreader will be nice to use, it arrived on Friday just before a weekend rain. I started to assemble it and found I was missing 9 parts so I had to borrow someone’s to get my product out before the rain. Customer service was excellent and sent the parts 5 days later after calling them on Monday, I haven’t gotten to use it yet until my lawns next treatment.
