Like others who have reviewed this product, we, too, have a dog that will not stop eating the granules. A neighbor's cat was also out feasting on the product. We will be switching to another product, likely liquid, that is safe for the pets but does not provide them with snacks. This risk should be made clear to pet owners who purchase this product. When I saw it was pet-safe, I did not expect the pets to utilize it as a food source! Is there some way to make this product less appealing to them? Seeing as how your product information states this product is not for consumption, it should be made less palatable. This product appears similar to blood meal, which would explain the pets' tendency to want to eat it.

I put this in my backyard because I have dogs. Unfortunately they have decided that it's good enough to eat. Their poop is runny and smells vile. I have generously watered it but the granules will not dissolve. I haven't seen any difference in my yard's appearance.
