Deluxe Potting Bench with Cabinet in Off White Light Oak Wood Finish

Great table and easy to put together

Unfortunately the potting bench arrived damaged, it was very flimsy and smelled weird. It seems to be poorly constructed with cheap wood. Seriously unimpressed and was hoping to have it in my garden for the long-term but I don't think this one is going to last too long at all.

The bench was easy to assemble and smells great! It was just what I was looking for, the right size and material. I do wish the hooks were not so curved because I cannot hang my gardening tools on them because their handles are too wide for the hooks.

Pros - 1. Well packaged and delivered on time 2. Clear directions and well labeled parts. 3. Light weight yet sturdy 4. Parts fit together well and has predrilled holes. Cons - 1. Some splintering on a few pieces but not significant enough to effect the look or integrity of the product. 2. Tools not included. This was not a problem for me but may be for someone without a drill/ screw driver and wrench. The reason for 4 stars. I used two different size screw drivers (could have used my power drill for some parts but stuck will good ol' Manual power.) and a wrench for the parts that attach the table top. 3. Although this seems sturdy I wouldn't leave it out in the elements unless in a covered area like a garage. I put a clear coats on mine since it will be on a screened porch. This only added 30 minutes to the assembly and no extra cost since we already had clear wood sealer on hand.

I got this to use as a patio prep/serving area. The price can't be beat. That being said, there is no way the wood would hold up outside with the finish as it comes. Also the included hardware looks super cheap. I'd recommend painting and adding your own hardware. I'm still looking for the right drawer handle, but you can see I added a different cabinet closure.
