Landmann Heatwave Wood Fireplace

I have owned several fire pits in the past including those that have the door in the perimeter mesh. While the door gives access to the fire, it has always been the point of failure for the fire pit. I love this design because it will last longer.

I like this best because I can move it.. front yard, backyard, deck, patio... Its got wheels and I can move i where ever I want.. After its cooled, I remove the safety screen and put the lid on it and store it away. I doesn't consume much space at all. Cant beat the price either. With a little bit of care this thing will last years. I also put a 1/2 bag of sand in the bottom like suggested.

A GREAT ITEM, MY ONLY COMMENT IS THAT THE COVER SHOULD BE OFFERED IN THE PACKAGE WITH THE FIREPIT ITSELF. I ONLY FOUND OUT THERE WAS A COVER FOR THIS ITEM WHEN I OPENED UP THE CARTON WITH THE FIREPIT IN IT AND SAW THE COVER OPTION IN THE PAPERWORK. THE COVER HAS TO BE ORDERED SEPARATELY AND INCURS SHIPPING CHARGES. IT WOULD BE MUCH MORE CONVENIENT TO SHOW THE COVER WITH THE FIREPIT ITSELF!

It wasn't that difficult to put together, good instructions and pretty simple construction. Have only used the Fire Pit once and it worked just fine. Very similar to the old one we used to have which is why we bought it. We like to wheel it off the center of the lawn the morning after we use it which is why we chose this model. The wheels seem a little shakier than the last one we owned, however the bolt and wheel assembly appears to be durable enough to last quite a few years. No concerns so far! Thanks

Received Landmann Heatwave Outdoor Fire Pit within a week, sadly there was some minor damage to bottom of fire pit from shipping. But we are keeping it. Larger than I expected which is GREAT! Easy top access to your fire from above, puts off some heat! Only reason I didn't give it five stars is because of the dent and scuffs. Also bought over priced Landmann cover. After opening assembly directions, found on back page that I could of ordered the same cover for half the price! Very nice fire pit.
