The amount the Smartpak gives in the wells is far lower than the recommended feeding amount. I suggest buying it in bulk so you can feed the proper amount. However, my horse stopped eating it as it's a large amount of powder, and the barn he is at doesn't soak feed. I swapped to SmartShine which has a lower feeding rate.

Had vet check in April, as Hayvn was a new horse to us. She looked awful coming out of winter when we bought her. Vet told us to put her on this supplement because she was lackluster, full of dandruff, and had a poor diet with previous owner. Within 2 months she was gorgeous. Definitely think this product along with muscle repair and ulcer supplements, and new feeding regimen worked for her.

This is the first time I have just decided to give a review without being prompted. This stuff is Mind Blowing! My horse has always come out of the winter so full of dander. A nightmare to groom. Dander is impossible to groom out. I brush and brush and brush and there's no difference...a horse covered in dander. I have used omega supplements every year but because of Covid I switched to quantity of an unknown product. I can buy this in a 50lb bag and I live in Canada so my brother drives it up for me. I hate having him shlep all my supplements so I'm keeping simple - one bag instead of multiple buckets. I am going to try to post picture of before and after. The before is the dander and the heart when I vacuumed my horse in the winter of 2020. The after is a photo I took today, May1, 2021. She has not had a bath since Oct 2020.

i started my older hard keeper on omega horseshine in late spring to help blow his winter coat and within two weeks of him on it he blew it!!! This fall after almost a year on it he's even got dapples! It tastes good enough for him to eat it by itself (I usually give sprinkled on grain though) and he's a rather picky eater. Highly recommend

I bought this about a month ago and have noticed a difference in my minis coats within 2 weeks of starting it. Their coats were dull and coarse and just not growing back in properly after their spring body clips this year. Now they're soft and shiny! Their coats look so much healthier already!
