Fisher Price Fp Itsy Bitsy Bouncer

I bought this online and had it delivered to a Wal-mart near me. It was worth it! This bouncer is not that expensive and it is well built and has nice padding for your little one. My baby is a newborn so he doesn't interact with the "Music bar" but I'm sure in about 3-4 months he'll love it!

LIKED: DURABLE- Washed cover several times & it has remained good as new. EASE OF SET-UP & PARENT USE- Easy to set-up & also to carry around the house to different rooms. I liked that you can take off the toy bar & so I would feed the baby in the chair. COLORS & MUSIC- It is bright & colorful. Better than getting an all pink bouncer (dull!) & music plays itsy-bitsy spider over & over again. It will play the song with lyrics, than just the insturments, then repeats lyrics again. Lasts about 10-15 min., then shuts itself off to save battery (Music stops, but vibration keeps going until you physically switch it to off. Duracell batteries lasted 6 mths. w/everyday use.) 10-15 min. is usually the time you need to entertain your little one while you do something else. DISLIKED: TOYBAR- Baby could not reach the spiders hanging from the toy bar. Even as she got older & bigger, the toy bar is still too far from the baby. Music even has a setting to only sing when the baby pulls on the spiders, but I don't see how that could be possible. If she could even reach the spiders, they are a bit hard to tug on to get the music going. If she kicks them, it doesn't work either. VIBRATION- it is very soft, low. Not strong at all. OUTGROWN FAST- By 6 months, my daughter was wiggling too much to stay in there safely & it didn't have enough action going to entertain her anymore. Wish I could have gotten one that converts to a rocker. I thought this product overall was OKAY. I would recommend product, because I got a lot of use out of it for 6 months, but I would also recommend shopping around and comparing to other bouncers to find one with better features.

I expected a little more from this product from the reviews I read. There's not much movement with the spiders etc to catch the babies attention. My son likes the bouncer much better with the spider attachment removed and even then he doesn't stay in it very long.

We used this without the toy bar until our son was 10 weeks old. Now he is four months old and thoroughly enjoys the toy bar. He sits in this several times a day, every day, and we have yet to replace the batteries. There is enough variety in the songs that it doesn't annoy us. I think it is good that the spiders are far away because not that he is finding he feet, he is enjoying the chair even more.

I recieved this bouncer at my babyshower and it was the only thing my son would allow me to put him in. He loved the vibration and the musical dancing spiders, but after only 2 months of use, the vibrating stopped. We tried changing the batteries, but that didn't help at all. I'm disappointed about that. I still use it, but I have to bounce it myself for him. Other then that, he still loves his bouncer.
