Weed Eater FeatherLite Xtreme 16" 5cc Gas Trimmer

I'm a petite woman and I can't use a full-size trimmer. They're all too heavy for me. I can lift and use this trimmer with ease. It's easy to start, too, and never stalls

I bought this product not even two weeks ago and it is terrible. The very first time I used it, it kept stalling even though I followed the instructions to the "T". The nylon kept wearing down too quick and I was only using it on grass; not against or near a fence, etc. THEN, the entire head that contains the nylon thread stopped turning...all on my first use. The guard protector does not work well either as my legs were pelted with stuff even though I wore jeans it still hurt! I put it in my trailer and took it to the dump where it belonged and spent the extra money on a better product.

Have mine for second summer now. From the beginning it did not keep the idle and worked only at full throttle. Quite a pain as it stalls all the time, and very noisy at high RPMs in-between. And, it is not easy to start. Came up with a routine to go through settings change - pull the string 5-7 times before it starts running; otherwise it catches up-stalls-won't start. Don't like it at all.

I am sorry to say this weedeater is not made very well. I have purchased weedeaters in the past and they have preformed well, but this one is hard to start and does not seem to be balanced correctly. Something has changed in the 2008 models and I just cannot say much good about this product except for the price.

As a fool I bough my second trimmer within a period of less then 4months from the first one. This product is totally worthless, pls don't buy it! Trust me!
