Greenworks 18" Corded Electric 10 Amp Attachment Capable String Trimmer 21142VT

This is a VERY powerful tool...! Exceeds my expectations in the way it was designed. Only used it once so far but I am very happy with it's performance. Walmart did a great job as well - competitively priced, it arrived when promised and there were NO extraordinary issues with any part of the transaction.

Sure lays the weeds low, until the line does not feed and disappears in side the feed mechanism. Just now tried the trimmer, have not got the feed open yet.

I like the power that this trimmer has with 10 amps it cuts like a gas trimmer without all the noise and vibration. No mixing of oil and gas and frequent stops to put more fuel in the tank. Step one though is to buy some commercial grade line. Taking the head apart to add a line takes some practice. I much prefer this trimmer over a gas trimmer even though I have to use a 50" cord and a 100' cord to do my whole backlot.

Love it! I've only owned gas powered trimmers before. But when it wouldn't start this year, even after giving it a tune up, I decided I'd try electric. I did some research, never heard of Greenworks, but they got good reviews. Man I wish I had bought this years ago. This is just as powerful as my gas powered unit (STIHL 45) but WAY more easier to use without the noise

I know everyone loves the fancy (not all that less of a hassle) battery powered ones, however this was great. The power was strong, it was long (for tall people) and balanced (the shoulder strap made it even better). If you are not going to get a gas powered (messy/have to store gas), get this.
