Worx WG800.1 3.6V Cordless Lithium-Ion 2-in-1 Grass Shear and Hedge Trimmer

I had brought the 3.6v Cordless shrubber shear many years ago. It finally wouldn't work anymore. I am disappointed that it was discontinued. Why was this discontinued? Will you have another cordless shrubber shear again. I am past 77 years of age and can enjoy working the in the yard sitting down and trimming around the plants. Please let me know if another hand held trimmber will be available.

I love this grass shear. I have it and have a lot of grass trimming to do. A typical weed wacker cuts the edged grass too low and it dies. I prefer to do it by hand and have used this product for a few years now. I run out of juice before i am done. Last year I thought I would save some money and bought a Sunjoe brand to have another on hand-hated it. So I bought my second Worx- I was afraid to try another brand because this works very well. The blades cut fast and are sharp. It dies a great job. The shrub shear does not work that great for me. If it had, it would have been icong on the cake. I definately recommend it as grass shears!

I bought this trimmer about a month ago and couldn't be happier. I did hesitate as I had bought a Black and Decker cordless shears several years back and was totally unhappy with both the gutless performance and the battery that didn't last. But, this little guy is just great! It even trimmed effortlessly some of the branches on my small bushes. The only problem is having to hold the safety button in while you depress the trigger. I understand the safety issue but it takes a little more pressure than I wish it did for my 77 year old hands to manage. But everything else about it is just great so I really am not complaining too much. I hope and believe it will last a long, long time at this high level of performance.

This is just the right size for me to use to trim small shrubbery and the grass that grows under the fence. It is light weight, battery lasts a long time. A little difficult to reach and press in release button to start. Wish I could slide start button to begin and slide off when done rather than holding the button. Overall would highly recommend this product.
