Snow Joe 13-inch Electric Snow Shovel, 10-Amp, 20ft Throw Distance

This is a nice electric snow shovel. It is not too heavy and works like it should. I make sure I watch which direction the wind is blowing as you can't direct the snow but I wasn't looking for that. It works great for the deck, steps and around my fence line. I live in Wisconsin and the snow is sometimes heavy but this shovel does the job. I've got a snow joe, aqua joe and sun joe. I obviously like their products. Good price, good product.

What an amazing device. The Snow Joe can and will replace your traditional shovel. After using it once, I can assure you that you will be convinced. The model I chose is corded, but there are slightly more expensive options with a battery pack that gives about 45 minutes of run time. Snow removal for my deck took about seven (minutes) and easily tossed the snow off to the surface of the decking within a twenty-foot arc. Weighing in at just about ten pounds, the Snow Joe should be easy for most to use providing they can engage in moderate activity without difficulty.

This is an adequate snow removal tool. We had our first snow here in Ft Collins CO of 11 inches (powder and wet snow mix). I did two passes of mine and my neighbors driveway which is really what I wanted it for. It works GREAT on long open stretches of concrete, pavement. Sidewalks not so much as it throws the snow straight out. Some thoughts if your are thinking about this: 1. The cord - I purchased this due to the price point ($70) and not sure how the battery shovels would work. It really stinks lugging the cord around and I tripped a few times and almost sucked up the cord, but I got into a rhythm and figured it out. 2. The unit does get a bit heavy picking it up and setting down. 3. Plastic blade and auger. I caught a few bigger branches and stones, scarred the heck out of me and we'll see how long these last before replacing the parts which are available on walmart.com and snow joe.com. So why the five stars? It did what I purchased it for - clear driveways without breaking my back. Recommend this product for smaller driveways, decks or patios.

If you are looking for something quick and easy to move that snow, this is the answer. It is lightweight, easy to use and REALLY moves the snow fast. I would highly recommend this to anyone. Customer service i excellent too! I rated this product 5 star and 100% customer satisfaction.

Very good product for throwing the snow, but the shoot causes the snow to blow virtually straight up. They need an adjustable shoot, much like a snow blower, so the user can determine which direction the snow goes. Corrected by attaching a home made deflection to better direct the snow discharge. Otherwise, a very good unit.
