I've owned this blower for about 3 years now it replaced an older red max blower that we had every fall we have a ton of leafs that fall on our yard. Upgrading from a smaller blower this EBZ8500 get all the leafs out of small plants and creeping bushes on the ground. So much power it was the most powerful blower they made at the time and I love it. Two years ago the engine block cracked and it bbn wouldnt start but red max replaced the engine for free I think it was a recall. They have great customer service we had the blower back the same day within hours. If your looking for a blower buy this one!

Owned several of these over the years. Excellent for leaf cleanups and daily use in lawn maintenance. Easy to grab, throw on and go. Tried other blowers offered to me as a demo and I cant see any other blower for use in my business!

We got 3 of these blowers in 2018. All of them run great, sound amazing and are super dependable. No issues at all. From simple maintenance accounts to heavy wet leaves, these blowers earn their keep!

This is actually about the ebz8550. I have long trusted the ebz8500 and its mechanical twin the husqvarna bt580 as my go to blowers, albeit with some modifications to increase power. The 8550 surpasses this and i have been more than 100% happy with them.

Have used redmax for a few years now. We have always ran sthil blowers and trimmers. until one day we had a br800 crack a crank with about 5 months of use on it during the summer time just blowing off grass with walks and driveways. We looked at the 8500 and the price was a big selling point and also the way the blower was designed, looked well built. Only time will tell. 6 years later that blower has made it's way to blower heaven and completely happy that we made a choice to pick redmax and have made to switch over to them. Now the review of the 8500. Cons - the back pad mounting pads could be a little more comfortable or made of a thicker material to make the day better with wearing it for 8 hours during leaf season. The mounting clips that hold on the back pads brake off and cause the pads to fall off some times. We have fixed that with larger heads on the clips The strap clips that clip in on the bottom of the blower could be made of a better design so they dont snap off when you least expect it. Now the pros -- lite weight for using daily and well balanced. Powerful enough to blow what ever you put in front of it. Some times a little to powerful, but just need to learn the throttle The throttle is very responsive and quick and bring to full power. Handle Design is nice in the hand and comfortable to hold for a few hours, could use a little more padding like a gel grip. But we wrap hockey tape around it. Tube Design is great, not to long not to short. The opening is good size that directs air in a nice cone to move a lot of air at once. If any one is looking for a great. No an awesome blower for your business. Make the right choice and dont look pass REDMAX. there is not one thing that will let you down. Oh plus the redmax gear and apparel is much better looking then all the other companies.
