Oakland Living Two Cranes with Lily Birdbath in Antique Bronze

The bird bath is beautiful, it is of good quality it appears. With the weight at 30 pounds, I don't think I have to worry about a cat or the wind knocking it over. The only reason I did not give this product 5 stars is because the hardware that was sent with it was poor quality and two different colors. Three of the bolts broke while I tried tightening them. I was not able to get the bolt out of one leg and have no way of securing it. If I'd known before putting it together, I would have bought good USA bolts and nuts.

I am a firm believer in heeding other reviews before purchasing, but my husband insisted that he would be able to assemble with no problems. First, the directions as others have stated, are ridiculous. A small picture with all the pieces parts with arrows. The different size screws, nuts, washers were all different colors and don't match the finish of the bird bath, not to mention, they were all thrown together in one bag. The legs of the cranes were not tapped properly, so my husband had to buy a special bit for his drill to retap them. Two days later, it is finally put together, but now we need to buy paint to cover the shiny bolts and nuts that are visible to match the body of the cranes. Final thought, if you like problems, this is your project!

I purchased the birdbath to use indoors as a plant stand. It is just as I hoped it would be. The assembly was tricky as it takes a bit of study to discern the size of the screws so where they go can be determined. Further, strong and virile husband over-torqued one of the screws and it broke off. The assembly was not perfect, but our end result served our purpose.

Beautiful absolutely love it! Just wish the hardware was a bronze color not silver!

I ordered for my Mom for Mother's Day. Was disappointed because it was very hard to assemble, bad directions and definitely a two person job. The bolts did not match, one chrome one brass for each leg, the bolts did not line up with the holes on the top and one of the bolts for attaching the leg to base broke off. The reservoir is very shallow so in our south Texas heat it requires filling more than once a day.
