While these chimes do not last quite as long as I would like, I use them to keep disillusioned birds from flying into our patio door by hanging them from the gutter in front of the door. The chimes have been very effective and are not strong enough to damage the glass. They are very attractive, but will rust and eventually the strings will start breaking.

This is a really nice wind chime. It fits right in to our tropical-themed backyard. The chimes are heavy so when the wind hits them they make a very gentle sound. We love it!

I've been working on my front deck and porch to give it a ""Fall"" look. This wind chime is a perfect addition. I love the subtle sounds of the chime. I live in the mountains but am 10 minutes from the Santa Cruz beaches. Its gentle tones cover both climes.

I bought two of these and just love them...I wouldn't put them outside but hung them from the curtain rod above my two living room windows...they're so beautiful and when it's nice I open the windows and the breeze comes in and makes them sing...I have wind chimes in every room of my house and put a few sturdier ones outside...they're very good feng shui items and when I water my plants I move them with my hands for the movement...just beautiful!!!
