Was expecting to be able to fly around and have some control. Basically it just went up and I could never get it to turn left or right with any control at all. After crashing the thing over and over again because there is no control it is finally broken. It spins to the left in a fast circle and cannot be controlled with the button that is made to stop the spinning. This button also gets stuck in the R position. Probably just got a bad one but I will not buy another one. I think my days of buying cheap remote control vehicle is over. Will be better off spending more on a better quality model.

The Air Hog Havocs are great beginner heli's and I regret the negative press they have received here. If you cannot swim do not go into the water. In other words do not try flying heli's if you cannot even operate a wheelbarrow! These are the best copters around and when you master the havocs, you can step up to the 4 channel helix 360 minis then coaxial and then single rotor..it is a hobby that requires practice and focus. The products made by Air Hogs are good..but the operators are a bit iffy..(Grin) I own several Air Hogs...and they took time to get used to and I took the time and they are great..

My wife and I purchased 2 of these little helis for our two nephews for Christmas and the adults played with them as much as the kids did! In fact, they were so fun that I purchased one for myself. These little helis have crashed multiple times and never had a problem. The only thing to look out for is to make sure there isn't a hair wrapped around the tail rotor as this will cause the heli to spin and no amount of trim will correct it. I've flown mine both indoors and outdoors but would not recommend it for outdoor use as any wind will cause the heli to stray out of range. I did it simply to test how high it could fly. I got it up to the height of a transformer on a light pole before the wind nearly caused me to lose it. Adjusting the center of gravity with the mechanism causes its flight characteristics to change and keeps the "pilot" adjusting and playing with it for hours trying to get the most out of the little toy! Additionally, due to the vortex created by the downdraft of the main rotor it gets hard to control near walls and ceilings so the goal is to try to keep in clear open spaces. Unlike any other RCs I have owned (cars) this one holds my attention far better as it allows me to think in 3 dimensions instead of the 2 that cars limit you to.

i just bought this helicopter two days ago. i have been flying it non stop it is a lot of fun. it is hard to get used to at first but the more you fly it the better you get. i have crashed it atleast 30 times already and not a thing has broken. it seems to be very durable and even comes with spare parts. i think this is a great buy expecially for the price.

My son received this as an Xmas present. After reading the instruction manual while it charged, I took it for a test flight. When it lifts off, it spins clockwise, and you must adjust the trim. We tried that, and it still spins. If you fly it with the rudder control stick all the way to the right, it will not spin as much. I checked out the airhogs website support, and other folks report similar failings. Most of the positive reviews come from helis that are made of foam, rather than plastic. I'm going to attempt to return it for a new one, hopefully it's just a defective model.
