QTX Series Very Quiet 110 CFM Ceiling Exhaust Bath Fan with Light and Heater

We had this unit installed in July 2015 as part of an addition to our home. The fan is super quiet an moves lots of air. It has been problem free. On the other hand, the heating element is terrible. When it works, it does a great job. The problem is, the thermistor on the heating element is either improperly sized or is of poor quality, and is not replacable. Once it trips, the whole element assembly is junk. The 4th replacement heating element failed yesterday. This is extremely disappointing, as I had high expectations for a Broan-NuTone unit. It would be nice if an updated element was released for these heaters.

Basically the fan and light work well however the heating element needs to be replaces about every 18-24 mos. My original was installed March 2017, replaced in April 2019 and just quit again in Jan 2021. Not a good track record. You would think the components would have been changed as all the reviews in this section relate to the same problem!

I purchased four of the Model QTX110-A units about ten years ago when I was building our house. The heating element in our master bath just went out, which is the first one to do so, and we use it quite often. We have been very pleased with our units.

Nice unit overall, but heater stopped working within two years. Broan covered the part but not the labor to fix it.

We had this fan installed in late September by our electrician.The fan looks very nice and was working very good for 7 months.The heat stopped working just blows cold air ,for the amount we paid for this heat fan you would think it would last longer. I am very disappointed
