This fire alarm works exactly as expected. I like the fact that it can be wired in so you don't have to worry about having extra batteries on hand when you hear the "chirp" indicating low battery life. The safety light is extremely bright and should help in case of a fire/smoke. The alarm is extremely loud so this would be perfect for heavy sleepers. Mounting was extremely simple as well. .

This smoke detector is easy to install, fits right on electric box with 2 screws. It has a wiring harness with pre stripped wires to hook up to electric. It comes with batteries. The alarm works well and is loud as it should be. I like the added feature of the pathway light that illuminates when the alarm is activated. It is a good small size so it doesn't look obtrusive. It comes with a dust cover which comes in handy.

Easy to install. LOVE the safety light feature. Very loud (which is a good thing since I have a few heavy sleepers in my house). Happy to switch out to a white alarm, as the ones already in our home when we bought it were off-white. Definitely will be getting a few more of these.

Easy to install and it's loud when I tested it. So far it hasn't even gone off when I'm cooking, which is saying something!!!!! I honestly hope I never need to make sure this thing works. I know it's a great brand and my fire fighter growths recommended this one.
