Levana Astra 3.5" Digital Baby Monitor & Oma Movement Monitor Bundle

I first got the Levana lower cost model and it worked perfect with night vision and all but returned due to faulty charging issue so it was returned and I ordered the Astra for a few bucks more loved its features but upon set up the night vision was horrible could hardly see our child in bed so i returned it also. I will try them one more time and hope this time i have better luck.

I purchased this monitor based off of the good ratings and reviews but haven't had the best experience with it myself. My daughter is a week old and we have only been using it for 3 nights now and it is constantly losing signal every 2 min. I gave it 2 stars because I do like a lot of the features like the fact it can span the room, the ability to talk to your baby when not in the room and the lullaby feature

Overall, works okay. Range is not that great depending on how many walls are between you and camera. For example, in the next bedroom is fine, but will not pick up signal outside from 50 feet away, through bathroom, living room and patio door. So, it won't work if baby is napping in their room and you are in the backyard on the patio. It does have a constant drone. However, it is nice to see what is going on without getting out of bed. Range of pan is good. Night vision function is great.

I love love love this baby monitor I've used it for over a year and still plan to tell my kids are grow and out the house, well let me tell u it has night vision, u can move the camera around by the monitor while yr away from yr napping baby or awake toddler, u can set songs or even talk to yr baby's,kids, or husband while your in another room or outside for a min.......this is it my mommy101 for u this is my favorite favorite favorite thing I'm got for my baby( but it for use moms to get a little sunlight out side or work on the house with peace of mind that we r still keeping an I on our babys, kiddos, or even elderly Parents if you in that situation...... Love this product u will want this one its worth every cent I can't stress it enough, I wish I had it with my two older children 9 and 8 year old but that's OK BC I can keep a eye on them to especially when they're fighting and don't realize I no the ring leader of the argueing/ fighting going on even while I'm getting the groceries out of the car

I got this camera because i wanted one that panned around the room and i could start the music from the handset. This does those things but i was completely unhappy with the quality of it. The camera picture was great when the light was on but as soon as the night vision activated the picture quality was horrible. I couldnt even see my kids in their beds because it looked like a couple blobs on the screen. When the camera is mounted on the wall everything is completely sideways and crooked. I tried to adjust the camera every which way possible but in the end the best i could get was to hold the handset sideways to see the picture correctly. The speaker was garbled while talking from the handset and my kids couldnt understand me and the music it plays would pause at random points in the middle of the song for about 10 seconds making us all think it had stopped then it would start up again where it left off. My biggest issue is the picture quality. I have a $40 video monitor that has better picture quality than this one. It doesnt have the bells and whistles that i want but I'd rather have the better camera quality so i can actually see my children which is the whole point of having a video monitor... dont buy this monitor, you'll regret it. Waste of money and waste of my time needing to wait in line at walmart customer service to return it.
