iLive Portable Boom Box with Ipod Dock, Ibr2807dpblk, Multiple Colors

This boom box is a good value in that the price is reasonable, and the sound quality is pretty good. Not as good as say a $300 Bose system but good enough to listen to casually. I purchased this for my teenage daughter to use with her iPod. She wanted a way to listen to her music without the earbuds stuffed in her ears when she is laying in bed reading or doing homework. The boombox not only affords a convenient way to listen to her music it also recharges the iPod.

This box was just what my tween girl wanted. She can charge her nano (4th gen) and share her music with her friends. They spent all day yesterday planning the dance they will do in school talent show. (Her friend's Touch Ipod did NOT fit in the dock.)

I was disappointed in this product. I bought it hoping to use it at my desk at work so that I could either listen to the radio or my ipod. There's a jack on the back that your headphones plug into and the sound comes through them-but the sound still comes out of the speakers, too! Also, the quality of the sound from the speakers was rather tinny (although since I own a Bose sounddock, it's probably a very unfair comparison). Also "Site to Store" took 17 days, after Cyber Monday. Overall, not a good experience.

I purchased this for my 8 yr old son who is getting the 4th gen nano for Christmas. It is perfect! We wanted something simple with good sound quality and we got it. The bracket (#2) was easy to install and the sound is great. It even has bass! The best part is he will be able to take it around with him instead of leaving it plugged in. I had to get on the website to figure out which bracket to use but the site was user friendly and had everything I needed at the click of a mouse. I highly recommed this product.

I bought the i pod boombox to take camping and it worked great to my expectations. I didn't expect the boombox to have great bass, which it doesn't, but thats not what I bought it for. It has really good sound for its size and it's very handy when your not around a power source and you wanna listen to what you want.
