Yogasleep Dohm® Classic White Noise Sleep Sound Machine, White

This has the perfect sleeping sound which I love the only thing I wish was different was the volume. We have very vocal animals which can be heard all through the house waking you up easily, other sleep machines can get very loud which I loved since it truly drowned the animals out.

I have two natural-colored Yogasleep white noise machines because the walls in my apartment are made out of tissue paper and my neighbors sound like they have megaphones lodged in their throats. I got this little black beauty because it resembles an abstract version of Darth Vader's helmet. I have this one up against the wall of my neighbor who has not stopped to take a breath since mid-2019.

I absolutely love my new white noise machine. I love that it has different settings to make it louder or quieter depending on what kind of sleeper you are. I love the design and that it's not super huge, making it easy to travel with if needed. Highly recommend this if you want more peaceful sleep to help keep out any outside noise.

It is exactly what you'd expect; a small fan inside a housing that produces a steady background hum. I can't complain as to its functionality. It does what it is supposed to do. My only complaint is that it is much quieter than I was hoping for. If you are used to something substantial like a box fan, this will prove far too quiet. I don't dislike it enough to return it, but it's being relegated to my travel bag for use in hotels.

I like the look of this version of the sound machine because it's more sleek than the traditional classic. Does not appear to be constructed as well as the original, which I ordered and received about 10 years ago. Granted, I understand materials and things are different now, but the other machine which I still have is louder than this one. This one also doesn't have foam on the bottom, which helps with non-slipping. Instead, this version has four little gripper feet. The top has a sticker on with the logo whereas the other one did not have that overall it works fine, but you cannot replicate an original. Wonder if this one will hold up for 10+ years like my first Dohm.
