Rubbermaid Produce Saver 4-Piece Set

This is my 3rd set so of course I love the product. Unfortunately I can not find them in any stores near me and I would like to get more of the middle size. But they are actually my main source of storing food.

I use this mainly for baby spinach, but it makes it last longer than a week versus a couple days in other containers.

After converting to a healthy diet, which includes more fruits and vegetables, I chose these contains to store my produce in the refrigerator. So far, I have no complaints, and I would purchase these again. By the way, this is by far the best price I could find on the internet, and they are basically non-existent in my local stores. I received excellent customer service and fast shipping.

I have used Rubbermaid products for years, and I love them; unfortunately my intended use for these containers were to use for lettuce and various vegetables to keep the moisture out of the container. However, it does not keep the moisture out, and my produce spoiled just as quickly as when I pack them in a baggie with a paper towel wrap around them. I am dissatisfied with this product because it does work for the intended purpose. The large lids are little difficult putting on.

Several weeks ago, I had put a bunch of romaine lettuce in the fridge still wrapped in the plastic bag from the grocery store. Yesterday, I found it hiding behind some left overs. It was pretty limp, but I didn't want to waste it. I tossed out the bad parts, then chopped up the good parts. This morning, I opened it so I could make my salad for work and to my great surprise, the lettuce was even more crispy than the day I bought it! I have also had avocados keep for up to a month in them. This is a product that I will continue to use and buy as gifts for friends and family!
