Abbott Nutrition PediaSure SideKicks Smoothie Mix, 5.6 oz

My son, who is 8, and I tried this tonight. I decided to do it following the recommendations, which means using a blender. It was not as thick as I would have thought, per the package calling it a Smoothie mix. It was kind of a strange color too. Pink, just a strange pink is all. When I mixed it as recommended, I took it and poured some for me and some for him. We both tasted it at the same time and both had the same look on our face. We did not like the way it tasted. It was very strange tasting and really did not taste like strawberry or banana. He and I both felt that maybe if there were ice added to it so that it would have been colder that, just maybe, it would tasted a little better, but still did not think it would have been enjoyable at that point. I would definitely not buy this product. I also would not recommend this to anyone.

My son seemed to enjoy eating this. I love strawberry banana smoothies and now so does my son. I think it is the perfect flavor to introduce smooties to a child and I think it is a great great way to get fruits into them, especially kids that ordinarily won't eat them!

I am not fond of smoothie mixes because never taste right, also they leave an after taste. But with fresh fruit so high I try different mixes. That being said, I was surprised at good this mix is. Taste just like a strawberry banana milkshake. Mixes easy, taste good, good stuff.

Pedia Sure Side Kicks Strawberry Banana Fruit and Veggie Smoothie Mix, 5.6oz package came in an easy to open package. The instructions were easy enough to follow. I needed something to help with my picky eater. He thinks he can live on chicken nuggets and hot dogs. I wanted to make sure he would get something that would fill in the nutrients he was missing. He loves strawberry milk shakes so I thought we should give it a try. When I opened up the package to make the first smoothie for my son, you could smell the strawberries, it smelled just like strawberry milk shake. I was worried about how it was going to mix with the milk, but it mixed very well. When I made it following the directions I was not sure if it was going to be enough for his cup, but when I poured it into his cup it actually filled it up to the rim. I gave it to him and didn't tell him what it was and he thought it was a strawberry milk shake. I gave him a straw to use to make it more of a "milk shake". He really enjoyed it. I was very pleased at the reaction and will be using it again. I also will be trying the other flavors that are available in the future. I would definitely recommend this product to others

This fruit & veggie smoothie mix is very good and I can't wait to try other flavors. I tried both recommended directions to prepare and prefer the blender (with crushed ice) the best. After making my 2nd smoothie, I had my neighbor come over with her grandson (age 4) and he loved it. With that, I gave his grandmother the rest of the package so he could enjoy more. We are trusting the fact that this product is nutritional as it says on the package. Some of the ingredients (names) were unknown to us, so check before you buy.
