Abreva Cold Sore/Fever Blister Treatment, .07-Ounce Tube (Pack of 2)

When I first became infected with cold sores, I really didn't think anything could help. I went on prescription medication, but though it reduced the frequency of outbreaks, once a cold sore started the medication did not reduce the durarion of the outbreak. Then I tried abreva and it was like magic, it reduced the duration from 7 to 2 or 3 days. If I take it right when I feel tingling, I do not even get a visible outbreak. Abreva has changed my life.

I got Abreva when I first began to get the symptoms of a cold sore. I applied it, and followed the instructions THROUGHLY. However, when I woke up the next day my blister was HUGE. My whole lip was swollen., and t began to spread even more. I started off with ONE small cold sore and ended up with half my bottom lip filled with them! If I could post pictures I would because it was DISGUSTING. My cold sores took so much longer than normal to heal, and the pain was intolerable. I will NEVER use this product again, I'd rather let the cold sore pass itself.

Applied abreva as soon as the sore started appearing . 4-5x a day for 4 days. and by day 7 it was completely gone. i noticed the blistering stage wasn't as severe and it scabbed a lot sooner than normal. so i could tell it was working. but i was hoping i could avoid the blister and scabbing all together! better than not using it at all for sure!

This product is already overprice. Now they are forcing you to waste half of it by selling it in a pump that squirts out doses much larger than needed. I will be buying the European product instead whenever I can. I hate companies that promote waste and extra packaging.

Every cold sore medication I used didn't help me much. Then I went online to look at other treatments and I noticed Abreva, it seemed to be effective from the reviews. So I went to the store and bought Abreva, I got home and I put it on my cold sore I could quickly feel the pain go away. By the end of the day I could see and feel the difference of my cold sore, my cold sore was much smaller. Abreva is amazing!
