So happy! This laptop is pretty cool for the price. It folds over into tablet mode and is also touchscreen. Setup was incredibly easy. When weighing out function and cost of the laptop, this one was the best choice I could find.

The whole family loves using this Acer Spin. It is suppose to be only for my use but they keep stealing it on me! First off set up was easy. The computer walks you through the process step by step. Some of those steps you're allowed to “skip” and come back to at another time, if you're in a hurry. Having another Microsoft accounts helps too. Right out the box I did have to charge it before first use. A full battery will allow about 8 hours of use. It comes with Microsoft 10 already installed. When updates are available it takes only minutes to do so. You can use this Acer as a normal lap top or as they call it “Notebook mode” and it runs in desktop mode with keyboard and/or mouse. The second way you can use the Acer Spin is in Pad mode. You flip the screen completely backwards 360 degrees so just the screen is showing like you were using a tablet. If you enter “tablet mode” apps expand to full screen which is optimized for touch screen use. The Acer Spin is super thin and very lightweight. I would absolutely recommend to a high school or college student.

This miniature laptop converts into a tablet by folding. I like the option to use a keyboard when typing for a period of time. This Acer will fit in a large purse, mini backpack purse, carry on bag, etc. This is useful when traveling. I connected to WiFi with ease. I really enjoyed the touch screen feature as it was fairly sensitive. The first day of set up was fine, but the second time I opened the Acer, I noticed a black screen with a boot error. The third time I used the Spin, it froze for 10 minutes during the Microsoft office setup. When attempting to add Firefox and Chrome, I received a prompt to agree to stop using S mode (which appeared to be not recommend by Windows). You are unable to return to s mode once you switch out. This is annoying as sites such as YouTube recommend Chrome. As I used the site with Edge, I noticed sluggish typing and page loading Overall a good starter Acer for someone who needs Microsoft office, internet browsing, and checking email. 1 HDMI port & 2 USB ports

I am really pleased with my Acer Spin 1 2-in-1 laptop/tablet. It is fast and responsive and it gives me the option of swapping between tablet mode and laptop mode by simply flipping the display around to the back. The Acer Spin 1 came packed in a well-protected box and was inside a dust cover. It came with a charger and some literature. It had charge on the battery when it arrived, so I was able to plug it in and set up Windows while it completed its charge. Setting it up was very easy and just a matter of entering my existing Windows 10 username and password. It used my Windows account to set the device up and took roughly 15 minutes. Once I was signed in and it was set up, it gave me the option of syncing my phone and other devices which use an Android operating system. This worked very nicely and is a great feature. The Acer Spin 1 has a very sensitive touch screen with true HD resolution. Movie streaming services come in beautifully on the screen and without stuttering or excessive buffering. I have also used the internet and e-reader apps, all of which work flawlessly. Another great feature is that this device comes with a copy of Office 365 Personal already loaded. This is a huge value and turns it into a sort of work horse! In laptop mode you can use Office 365 for school or work, and is something that many 2-in-1's don't come with. Swapping between tablet and laptop modes is really easy. You just flip the keyboard around. Windows 10 detects this and automatically changes to the correct mode. I really like this feature, too. It makes it so easy to transition between modes. I can watch movies on the tablet and if I need to write an email or review a document from work, I just flip the display. It switches instantaneously. The keyboard is compact but very functional. I had no problems typing at full speed. The keys have a nice feel to them and don't required extra force to type. The battery life is pretty good. As long as it's not in heavy use, it seems to maintain its charge well. With heavy use, I'd recommend keeping it plugged in. The speakers have good sound. They aren't tinny sounding and has a good range from low to high volume. This device has a lightning fast 2.7Ghz quad core processor and 4GB of RAM. Definitely more than enough power to do most anything the average person needs to do. And, with a 64GB solid state drive Overall, this is a fantastic device. It rivals the quality of many top brands and I will most definitely buy Acer brand products in the future after seeing how nicely made this device is.

It's compact and has a tablet mode. I like to think of this as a tablet with a full size keyboard, a keyboard that you won't lose. It even has a headphone hole. This will easily fit in a standard size purse I really enjoy the convenience of this device. The touch screen really makes life so much easier. Pro Tip: Charge for about an hour or more to get it fully charged before trying to set it up. Remove the S mode so that you can install Googlehrome. If however you prefer bing, then this tablet is ready to go right out of the box. Comes with a full year of MS Office.
