I'm not a laptop aficionado, so get ready for the perspective of an average buyer. When I got my laptop, it was very sleek and stylish. After setting it up, it booted up in a few seconds and transfers files really fast. Like, 15 GB in 8 minutes; around 30mb/s. The 360 hinge makes it great for watching videos. The display takes up a lot of the space and has nice colors and graphics. And the battery can last around 10 hours if you're just browsing the internet or doing basic tasks. If you do run out, it doesn't take very long to recharge. It's also got a microSD slot instead of the standard SD, so transferring files between my phone and my laptop is a breeze. All-in-all, this is a great computer for homework, browsing, or some light gaming.
I love it. The color is nice and it's very easy to use. The battery life is great as well so perfect for gaming, business, social media and more. Also for work if you work from home. Only flaw is its a bit heavy other then that perfect. Its also a touch screen as well and a tablet, perfect.
This mostly meets my needs. I like the laptop/tablet hybrid features. The processing speed and video quality aren't great but they are decent. My disappointment is that Zoom backgrounds don't work with this processor. If I had known that I would have upgraded definitely.
Complete waste. Even after reading the online reviews about the issues people had setting up windows I did not believe that it would happen to me and that those were isolated cases. Lo and behold when I bought the computer2 days ago and tried to set up, it kept saying that I had an invalid Windows product key which makes absolutely no sense because the computer is brand new and it's advertised as having windows 10 and as having Microsoft office none of which came with the computer. I could not find the product key or the information for activating Microsoft office anywhere on the box or in the documents that came in the box or my receipt. In fact When the cashier was ringing up my item in the store I specifically asked him if the computer came with windows with Microsoft office and he said yeah it should most of them do and so I said can you please make sure and he scanned the computer and he said it's odd that the option for him to activate office at check out did not pop up like it does for other computers. That should've been my first warning to run! I cannot believe that they continue to manufacture and distribute these laptops that clearly have problems which they know about. My other issue with the laptop is that the keyboard is not back lit, I should have confirm this prior to purchasing, but I had a hard time finding any definitive information indicating whether it had one or not. At this point I don't think I will buy another Acer computer. I just ordered the Asus touchscreen which is just Like $30 more and it has a backlit keyboard and none of the reviews seem to have the same kind of issues that apparently many of us are having with this computer. I Would recommend paying a little extra to get the Asus version although I can't actually speak as to whether the Asus laptop will be good because I haven't received it yet LOL but it's being delivered on Saturday and I have high hopes for it
The laptop tablet combo is exactly what I need for going to college this fall and staying productive. The screen size feels large yet the laptop as a while doesn't feel to big. Windows In S mode wasn't really for me but it's easy and free to change it to regular to get a different browser like Chrome or an app not in the Microsoft store.
